Kit Parks is a fiber artist based in Detroit, MI. Integrating weaving, stitching, and dye work, their sculptures address themes of power and violence, sexuality, and the environment with a surreal softness. They have exhibited in galleries, bars, apartments, festivals, and parking lots across Michigan, as well as at the Museo Tamayo in Mexico City. In their spare time, they like to knit sweaters at city council meetings, admire trees, and gossip with the neighbors.
